  1. What inspired you to work in the PCB/electronics industry (or – how did you end up working here?!)?
It started as a temporary 6 week summer job at a local CEM whilst I was off college. I enjoyed myself so much so that I came back the following year full time. Also enjoyed the fact I had a few quid in my pocket.
  2. In fewer than 100 words, what does a typical workday at Active-PCB Solutions look like for you?
Being involved with continuous improvement activities; this can be looking into new equipment to evaluating new and existing processes. I also deal with day to day shop floor activities.
  3. What do you enjoy most about working with the team at Active-PCB Solutions?
As most people will say within the industry, no two days are the same and that’s no different at Active. I like the fact you don’t always know what you might be in for when starting the work day.
  4. Imagine it’s the end of a Friday workday – what does your ideal evening look like?
Cooking dinner whilst listening to a good Spotify playlist. Might even treat myself to a beer.
  5. What’s a hobby or activity you’ve recently gotten into, or one which you would love to try?
Swimming. I’ve a pool that’s a five minute walk from my house. My son and I have swum a few times recently. I’ve been meaning to go over by myself for a session without the floats.
  6. If you could wake up tomorrow being an expert at something or having a brand new skill, what would it be and why?
Speak multiple languages. I always admire people that can speak two or three languages.
  7. What is the last series you binged on Netflix/Prime/etc (and would you recommend it?)
I’m currently watching Stranger Things for the second time. Getting prepared for the final season later this year. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that’s into Sci-Fi.
  8. You have two weeks off and an unlimited budget; where would you visit?
Circuit of the Americas, the Texas Grand Prix. Then fly over to the Mexican Grand Prix the following week!
  9. What’s your go-to comfort food?
Roast dinner with all the trimmings.
  10. According to an advert I saw on LinkedIn, animals are excellent for engagement, so please show off your pet (if you have one)!
No pets for me! I’m allergic to most cats & dogs. I need to make sure I’ve Piriton at the ready as some of my friends do have pets.
  11. The same advert told me that humour was also good for engagement. Can you tell us a joke?
What’s a goalkeepers favourite snack? Beans on post!
  12. Jason set the following question: Who is your biggest inspiration?
Jason Hancock, he is an instrumental leader. Somebody that I have admired for quite some time.
  13. And finally! Can you think of a question to ask the next person on ‘Meet The Team’?
    What’s your favourite film?
