- What inspired you to work in the PCB/electronics industry (or – how did you end up working here?!)?
I have worked in the electronics industry since 2007. I arrived at Active-PCB in 2011. - In fewer than 100 words, what does a typical workday at Active-PCB Solutions look like for you?
White board or production meeting as soon as I get in to get updates on deliveries. Working through customer emails and raising quotations and loading orders. Assisting with production queries for jobs on the line and general day to day queries from customers. - What do you enjoy most about working with the team at Active-PCB Solutions?
The relationships with our colleagues. We always make sure we have a laugh or make it fun when we are having a tough day. - Imagine it’s the end of a Friday workday – what does your ideal evening look like?
Spending quality time with the family relaxing with a large bar of chocolate and praying my twins sleep through the night. - What’s a hobby or activity you’ve recently gotten into, or one which you would love to try?
I enjoy quilting and I am currently making memory quilts from my twin’s baby clothes. - If you could wake up tomorrow being an expert at something or having a brand new skill, what would it be and why?
I would love to be a volcanologist and travel the world and visit all the active Volcanoes. - What is the last series you binged on Netflix/Prime/etc (and would you recommend it?)
Owning Manhattan, Buying London, Selling Sunset. Anything with selling property and a bit of reality TV I love. I used to be a part time estate agent which is why I love these series - You have two weeks off and an unlimited budget; where would you visit?
I would love to go back for a third visit to Sri Lanka and then fly on to the Maldives. The Sri Lankan people are very welcoming and friendly and would thoroughly recommend it. - What’s your go-to comfort food?
It would be roast beef with all the trimmings followed by treacle sponge pudding and custard. - According to an advert I saw on LinkedIn, animals are excellent for engagement, so please show off your pet (if you have one)!
We have Cookie, a nine year old dwarf lop house rabbit. - The same advert told me that humour was also good for engagement. Can you tell us a joke?
What do you call a snowman in a desert? A puddle. - Mark set the following question for you: If they made a film of your life, which actor would you like to play you and why?
Holly Hunter. Elastigirl from the Incredibles. She embodies that balance of organization, adaptability and devotion to family, while also being strong and capable. Her problem-solving and multitasking, handling home life and motherhood with grace. - Can you think of a question to ask the next person on ‘Meet The Team’?
If you could only have either one arm or one leg, which would you choose and why?
