Meet The Active-PCB Team: Jo Edwards, Senior Account Manager

In this series, we’re meeting the Active-PCB team and finding out a little bit more about them. First up is Jo, who is Active PCB’s Senior Account Manager. Jo has been with us for 17 years so knows everything there is to know about Active.

  1. What inspired you to work in the PCB/electronics industry? By Accident! I had left recruitment and started as a Receptionist at Active while I decided what to do with my life. 
  1. In fewer than 100 words, what does a typical workday at Active-PCB Solutions look like for you? It varies day to day, but mainly consists of assisting team of Account Managers with any issues, solving higher level customer problems, monitoring order intake, monitoring quotes, ensuring as a team we are working towards meeting our strategic objectives.
  1. What do you enjoy most about working with the team at Active-PCB Solutions? The people, we have a great proactive team behind us.
  1. Imagine it’s the end of a Friday workday – what does your ideal evening look like? The cleaning fairy has cleaned my whole house and I can go out for an Italian and Long Island Iced Tea.
  1. What’s a hobby or activity you’ve recently gotten into, or one which you would love to try? I’d like to try crocheting, it looks fun!  
  1. If you could wake up tomorrow being an expert at something or having a brand new skill, what would it be and why?  I would be a hairdresser, that was always my dream.
  1. What is the last series you binged on Netflix/Prime/etc (and would you recommend it?)  The Staircase – its an oldie but it is great, I need more people to watch it and agree with me on the man’s innocence (or not!) 
  1. You have two weeks off and an unlimited budget; where would you visit? Italy – Id love to see Rome!  
  1. What’s your go-to comfort food? Chocolate – Galaxy or Lindt.
  1. According to an advert I saw on LinkedIn, animals are excellent for engagement, so please show off your pet (if you have one)!  Yay!! My little Loki AKA Piglet – the snuggliest cutest little piglet in the world
